The Book Fair Committee
will help set up and sell books at the Fall and
Spring Book Fair functions. |

Committee will work to enhance the school's outside
appearance. |

Copy Center |
The Copy Center Committee
will assist with copying, laminating, cutting and
assembling materials for instructional use.
This committee requires 2 hours per month with
training provided. |

Cultural Arts |
The Cultural Arts
Committee assists with scheduled student enrichment
programs throughout the year. |

ESL & Parent Outreach |
The ESL & Parent Outreach
Committee implements programs and opportunities to
improve participation in school activities and PTA
programs including ESL. |

Guidance: Character
Education |
The Character Education -
Guidance Subcommittee assists with bulletin boards,
videos, publicity, classroom presentations and
implementation of character education activities. |

Guidance: Clerical Help |
The Clerical Help -
Guidance Subcommittee works approximately once/month
or as needed, to help the Guidance Counselor. |

Guidance: Parent
Workshops |
The Parent Workshops -
Guidance Subcommittee helps with the implementation
of workshops, including publicity, refreshments and
supervision of children. |

Guidance: PTA Resource
Corner |
The PTA Resource Corner -
Guidance Subcommittee maintains a library of books,
video and audio tapes, and printed materials on
parenting skills & teaching tips, as well as
children's books for adult checkout. The
subcommittee also helps to maintain a vertical file
on parenting topics. |

Guidance: Special
Projects |
The Special Projects -
Guidance Subcommittee is a one time project or
series of small projects. Examples:
Counselor's Week, donations for clothing & the
school supply closet, seasonal canned food drive,
Baileywick Hugs, etc. |

Guidance: Translation
Help |
The Translation Help -
Guidance Subcommittee is to help with
English/Spanish translation for occasional written
and/or verbal communications to parents such as
flyers, workshops, or letters home. |

Hospitality |
The Hospitality Committee
donates and serves food for the following special
teacher & staff lunches: Back to School Lunch,
Holiday Lunch, Teacher Appreciation Week Lunch, and
the Year-end Lunch. The team also provides
snacks for the teachers & staff on "Early Release"
days throughout the school year. |

Kindergarten Registration |
The Kindergarten
Registration Committee assists parents in completing
forms for new students. Registration is held
in February. |
|
Kindergarten Lunch Helper |
The Kindergarten Lunch
Helper Committee assists students in the food line
and other duties during lunch as needed. |

Media Center |
The Media Center
Committee helps in the Media Center to check books
in and out, shelve books, and assist students with
projects and computer research. |
|
Music Programs |
The Music Programs
Committee helps organize and coordinate music
performances. |
|
Odyssey of the Mind |
This is a program at
Baileywick for 3rd, 4th,
and 5th graders. This program teaches students
to learn creative problem-solving methods while
having fun in the process. Coaches are needed
for teams. |

P.E. |
The P.E. Committee
assists with P.E. Testing and filling out forms.
P.E. Testing will be conducted in the Fall and
Spring. |

Reflections |
The Reflections Committee
assists with the Reflections Art Program throughout
the Fall and in
December. |

School Pictures |
The School Pictures
Committee assists students and photographers on
picture day in the Fall and Spring. |
|
School Spirit |
The School Spirit
Committee assists the committee chair with school
spirit activities as needed. |

School Store |
The School Store
Committee assists with selling items at the school
store every Tuesday from 8:50 - 9:10 am. This
committee is a 30-minute commitment once a
month. |

Science Expo |
The Science Expo
Committee assists the committee chair with the
planning of the Baileywick Science Expo held in the

The Super Kids Day
Committee helps with outside activity centers during
the 2-day event held in the Spring. |

Teacher Appreciation Week |
The Teacher Appreciation
Committee assists the committee chair with the
planning and execution of a week full of events to
acknowledge the work and efforts of all Baileywick
teachers and staff. |

Tutoring:
"Baileywick Fun Reading A-Z"
(3rd Grade) |
The Tutoring / "Baileywick
Fun Reading A-Z" Committee works with students on reading,
writing, and math skills during school hours.
This committee is a 15-20 minute time commitment.
